01Welcome to the new site
If you've visited us before, you might notice things look a little different around here. (Or a lot different.) We've spent the last several months rebuilding More Than A Teacher's website from the ground up - and as of today, it's officially live.
02A real facelift
The old site served us well, but it was overdue. The new design is faster, mobile-friendly, and easier to navigate whether you're a parent looking for class schedules, a student hunting for a free practice test, or a counselor pointing a family our way for information. Everything's been reorganized to make the path from "I have a question" to "here's the answer" as short as possible.
03What parents asked for
A lot of what's new came directly from feedback we've gotten over the years. Two requests came up again and again:
Easier registration. Booking an SAT, ACT, or ISEE class or practice test used to involve more back-and-forth than it should have. The new site handles it in a few clicks - pick your test or class, pick your date, done. Same-day results, no spam, no obligation.
More of what we know, available to everyone. Over 20 years, we've answered a lot of questions about these tests. Which one should my kid take? What's actually changed about the ACT? How does the digital SAT scoring really work? Parents told us they wanted that knowledge in one place they could actually find. So we built one.
04Meet the Learning Center
The Learning Center is our new home for guides, timelines, blog posts, and interactive tools - and we built every piece of it ourselves, from scratch. No off-the-shelf widgets, no generic content licensed from a third party. If something's in there, it's because one of our instructors thought it was worth writing.
You'll find tools to help you do college research, honest write-ups on test changes, explanations of the confusing parts of scoring, and step-by-step guidance on what to register for and when. No paywalls. No email-gate before you can read anything. Just the information, the way we'd explain it to a family sitting across the table from us.
05What's coming next
We're not done. A few things on the horizon:
- More blog content, on a regular schedule. Right now there's a bit of overlap as we move content into the Learning Center. But expect new posts on testing news, strategy, and the questions we hear most often from families. If there's something you've always wanted us to write about, tell us - we'll add it to the list.
- A relaunched Facebook and Instagram. We let our social channels go quiet for a while. We're bringing them back, with regular updates and more video content in the future. Walk-throughs, instructor tips, and short explainers you can actually use, not just promotional fluff.
06Let us know what you think
If you run into a broken link, a page that doesn't load right, or anything that just feels off, please tell us. Email questions@dfwtestprep.com or call (214) 295-8265 - we'd much rather hear about a small problem now than have it stick around. Same goes for feedback in general: if there's something you wish the site did, or a topic you wish we covered, we want to know.
Thanks for being part of this. We hope the new site makes test prep feel a little less like a maze and a lot more like something you can actually navigate.
