Application essays without the stress.

What's included

With college admissions policies constantly changing, it's more important than ever that students put their best foot forward with their essay. For years, our test prep classes have helped students maximize their potential and achieve their college goals, and we bring the same low-stress, common-sense approach to helping students with their admissions essays. Need school writing help? Let us know.

  • Three sessions. Our essay class has a group workshop, when we'll focus on the tools you need to make your application stand out from the crowd while avoiding some all-too-common missteps. After attending the workshop, students will meet one-on-one with an instructor to review their essay and get personalized feedback. Multiple sessions allow students time to fully engage in the writing process and craft an essay that is uniquely them.
  • Real instruction. Most college essay programs focus on helping you revise something you've already written. Our class helps you get started with the big-picture structure and topic decisions that make applications stand out.
  • Personalized help. After your initial group session covering essay writing and application gotchas, you'll meet individually with one of our essay writing experts for individual attention and revision.
  • A focused plan. No one likes writing application essays, but it's easier if you know how to get started. We'll provide the scaffolding for you to help present admissions the best version of you, in your voice.
  • Real feedback. Anyone can give you an AI overview or grammar review. We've been working with the testing and admissions process for over 20 years, and we know which essay work and which don't.

Our essay writing classes start in the summer, as students prepare to start applications. Need a hand with the process? Give us a call at (214) 295-8265, and we'll figure out what makes sense for you.

The Instructors

It's right there in our name.

Most prep companies hire based on test scores. It's not enough.

We hire high-scorers, too, but that's just the start. A great test-taker isn't automatically a great teacher, so we also look for communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain a problem clearly from more than one direction. And it's not enough to just have been a former student of ours or to have attended a great college. Every instructor goes through weeks of training and mock classes before they ever teach a paying student, whether they attended Harvard, another one of the Ivies, or a top public flagship. It matters.
